The quilt pictured here was made by my friend Linda Gray. She came over to my studio one day and we dye painted a bunch of unusual fabrics including cotton batting and this is what she made with them. Isn't it fabulous! It was the inspiration for our luscious Fanci Fabric packs.
We're excited to offer you our new hand dye painted fabric packs. They come in lots of different color ways and two sizes, large and small. Each combination is unique and is filled with colorfast pieces of cotton and silk and the occasional synthetic. The types of fabric may include any or all of the following; cotton and silk broadcloth, silk Habotai, raw silk, cotton canvas, cotton batting, cotton cheesecloth, cotton gauze, silk organza, burlap, vintage linen, Doby cotton and Lutradur. The pieces range in size from fat quarters to 7" x 9" or so. Just one of these combos can make a great start to your next fiber art work!
